Some of the best BBQ Chicken I've ever tasted can be had at the City Meat Market downtown. I've heard the brisket, ribs and pork are good too... but they always sell out by 10:30am.

Just got Lone Pines BBQ as the BBQ vendor. GOOD BBQ from Giddings (love supporting local businesses). They will be there Sat and Sunday serving up some good food.

Y'all don't want to miss the Texas Timing Association cacklefest at Billetproof. We've got some strange and wonderful things in store for you. The famous old CKC fuel funny car from San Antonio. Bob Malone's unrestored blown Pontiac powered Top Fuel front engined dragster from near Houston that was last raced in 1963 (it's an old push-start car, so he uses a leather belt driven by the rear tire of an antique John Deere tractor to spin the rear slicks on the dragster and fire it off [no shit!]). Six time National Champion (1956-1961) Buddy Anderson of Dallas and his iconic Widdle White Wabbit B/Altered '48 Fiat coupe. May have a flathead four cylinder front engined dragster on nitromethane from way out in the Texas hill country. There will also be several more of the usual suspects that you often see, hear and smell at TTA cacklefests stinking up the air with the noxious fumes and causing temporary hearing loss with the thundering roar of their nitro exhausts. I just know y'all are gonna want to make sure you get in on this while you're in Giddings at Billetproof Texas '10. Thanks, Alan, for bringing the circus back to town again.

Only gonna be a cool 90 degrees this year! Lots of shade too. Bring your girlfriend or wife - or both! My sister (Blonde Aces) and wife (Voodoo Vintage) will have tons of vintage clothes, shoes and cool stuff at the show to keep them busy.
Sure wish we could be there, but damned if my grand daughter didn't decide to graduate from HS that weekend. My chopice was attend the graduation or castration by a dull round file. Guess what I picked....
