The Filthy 40 Willys SBC.. there was dust and dirt, smoke and all, and it was twisted up good. Most impressive drag pic I know of..

Ok, I found it on a Filthy 40 thread.. on this pic, Ryan says it's the most violent pic ever.

It's a 283 sbc!!

 

google "Mr. 409". the car had some real good pics posted in goodguys mag a few years back. It launches like the black 1960 posted above.

bobwop's Chevy gets one side heavy... but I'm waiting for him to post the photos!

The old Rocket sled never got enough traction to pull the wheels but it would roll over to get it's belly scratched!

 

check out the quarter panel of the Chevy. the right corner of the bumper is almost touching the pavement

Wing nutz...thanks for the vid. The white 64 Plymouth in there is John Dorlet's car from Colorado. His car ran A/S. I don't know the cam profile he has in that car but guaranteed there is not another one like it! We would be in the lanes and hear it poppin and knew exactly who it was. As you can see from the pics, that car was an ANIMAL with the 4 speed. He later changed over to an automatic for obvious reasons. I haven't seen him or the car in years. Hope he is doing well though.
