There are so many more. I would also like to thank all those who contacted me about the apprentice thing. Thank you so much for all the help. There are so many great people on here it is crazy. Since I live in a place were there are no hot rods and I will be leaving in June and can't really talk to anyone or anything. I get to meet great people like you before I move back to North America. Thanks guys for all the help and support.

    VIVA LA HAMB!

this comment is in no way directed at anyone mentioned on here. but, i gotta tell ya, there is more *** kissin on this site than most **** sites. granted there are a lot of very talented people on here, but c'mon, do we need to start pickin em out one by one? when some of the "bigger" names do any little thing, do we really need to have 20 pages of guys sayin WOW (whoever) YOUR THE GREATEST!!! i know ill get some heat for posting this, but think about this, if it weren't for the hamb,(which i will admit, i am at times thankful for).how many of these guys would we ever have heard of? i have seen things as minor as a pair of shocks gettin painted a candy color, and depending on who it was, everybody starts pattin the dude on the back and sayin how great the guy is. it was a freakin pair of shocks for christ sake. ill say again, this is not directed at the actual guys mentioned, but more at the guys who ooh and ahh over every little thing they do! stop kissin *** and go work on your car! LET THE SLAMMIN BEGIN!!!

Oh yeah, chopt, great comment. I love it! You're a legend. ;)

  5. I also kind of agree. Especially when there's some legitimate tech to be learned in the threads but you have to surf through 8 pages of verbal *******s. Maybe the HAMB could develop a 'Like' ****on like Facebook.

You sound like a cynic.. There is no room in life for cynicism. It breeds unhappiness.

Yes we do a lot of back patting and atta boy and atta girl on here but I don't see it as ****ing up to anyone. It's just our way of giving a bit of recognition for something that we like or enjoy. A thanks for sharing great photos of an event or particular car. A job well done when someone shows their build or finished rod or custom photos and we like what we see.

We do have a number of people on here who do legendary things.

Hambandy for being a tough little guy in the face of something he had no control of.

Casey for being the guy who kept us entertained both here and for those lucky enough to enjoy his company and stories and adventures. I never got to have "that beer" with him and will never get to cross that one off my list.

We do have a lot of others that do or have done legendary things here.

Hotrodladycruiser for being the one person who makes an event an official HAMB happening with her presence and camera. Just about each and every one of us who have been on here a while figure that the coverage of an event isn't complete until she has posted her photos and story of the event and travels to and from it.

We have several who give solid answers to the "what's causing my - - -Problem" on here but Squirrel and John Evens take the time time after time to give real and honest answers to what often are the same questions time after time. No nonsense but real help for someone who pretty obviously doesn't have much of a clue. There have probably been at least 500 questions that I have read read and then while thinking of the right answer scrolled down to see either Squirrel's or John's correct and on the money answer right there.

And don't forget Bruce Lancaster our guru of all things Ford Flathead who has come to the rescue time and time again.

I don't believe that the post count serves as any kind of indicator but the content of the posts that one makes serve to tell a lot about them.

Me too.. I ended up selling it years ago, the guy only wanted the engine out of it. A couple of years later I was at a Goodguys event in Pleasanton,Ca and I spotted my Caddy engine in a 39 Ford Coupe. At least it went to a good home.Moved onto bigger and better things since then.

    Isn't that a *******?

I haven't seen any **** where someone is getting their *** kissed. I think in addition to being a cynic, he is a fetishist.

We aren't gay, except maybe Ryan, he kisses like a ***.

I personally thoroughly enjoy the volumes of wonderful photo and history posted on here by Mzooma1. To me he is the stuff HAMB legends are made of.
