  4. I ran the first one of Jim's T Go heads on my '15 Speedster in '86. The head is patterned after a BBR Rajo. It uses Chrysler slant six valve train components. I ran a side draft 48 Weber carb, and yes, 100 mph is not an exaggeration!

I visited Jim probably in the late 90's and he had two or three T engines running with what I thought I remembered as a SOHC head off maybe a Pinto.

    Am I hallucinating?

I like the custom grill treatment.

  11. That is actually a Livingston style V radiator. Supposedly had more cooling surface.

[IMG]I remember seeing that car under construction back in the mid 1970's. Does anyone know who wound up with the Twin Cam Cragar Stan Wisebard had?

This was in the motel parking lot during the GG Scottsdale show last fall. Built by Don (last name escapes me) who owns the Bell Auto Parts trade mark.

  20. F.A. Ames Company of Owensboro, KY produced Model T speedster bodies. Here are a few more pics.

In addition to the speedsters, Ames also built 4 passenger bodies to the Model T owner who was a family man.

My grandfather's Model T Speedster that he built in 1925 at age 25

John C. Johnson of Alexandria, Indiana

The lady in the speedster is his older sister Cecil and nephew John.

Hate to answer something that is damn near a year old, But bullshit right back at ya fur bisquit! It is owned by Don Small currently, and was indeed built by Pete Eastwood... But Don has had it for about 7 or 8 years now. The two are buddies, so when Pete was ready to sell, Don got the call. Don now lives up in Prescott AZ. and seems to drive it pretty regularily, 'cause I see it all over the state.

This was one of my favorite pictures that inspired me to build my Speedster back in the late 70's.
Sold it in 1981 at the Portland Swap Meet.
Would love to see it again.
    Speedsters are fun!
I currently have one built from a 1952 Prefect.

    I figured I might add our 1917 speedster and Clayton's ( Mrmodelt) 1926 roadster, also my freind Tim Williams 1926 speedster. ImageUploadedByTJJ1356481845.687870.jpg ImageUploadedByTJJ1356481874.457920.jpg ImageUploadedByTJJ1356481956.506983.jpg

That's awsome T N A ! I was just looking at the earlier shots of your car last night thinking I need to dig mine out of the rafters! What did you do for steering? Looks like an "A" box out on the frame rail, but just U-joints above?

Thanks! So what do you have up in the rafters?

Ya its an "A" box in the frame. Its all a really have room for and wanted to keep it all 1930's parts. and Yes it Just has U-joints in the cowl area. I was going to put the box in the cowl and but the geometry would have been way off and would have caused alot of bump steer.
