Since my last update I've installed glass in the quater and rear windows, wet sanded the body, and now I've got WWWs (7.00x16 rear/6.00x16 front) all the way around. I've got some issues with the wheels that I've gotta fix in the next few days, before the Leadsled spectacular. I think I'll move on to building the top next, just a soon as I decide how I wanna do it:D .

In a distant future far far away, I'd like to build an underslung roadster. Do you have any close up pics of the suspension and build up?

Its "International Blue" as in IHC tractor Blue :D . It was the closest shade to what I wanted. I just used Martin Seynour enamel that I got mixed at the local NAPA.

Its a great color, it really matches the style, and sets off the whole car.

I still need a grill insert, so maybe instead of stainless, I'll paint some wire mesh yellow and call it the Jayhawk Rod. :D

LMAO. No you just need a license plate surround that says " K-State Alumni". That'll get 'em guessin'.

Did you swap out the mc and steering column/wheel?

I haven't done anything with the MC yet. Before I had to leave Saturday, I did attempt to put the '53 steering wheel in, but it doesn't fit. Its too big around, I can't move my leg enough to hit the brake or clutch peddles. So I'm back to square one on that one.

why not just remove the bottom third of the wheel.

What are you thinking for options?

Plywood? Ribs and chicken wire? Do you want it removeable?

  21. Your T coupe is really awesome. Did you ever decide what to do for a top? Any current pics?

I am actually building it right now. Going with a wood frame that I'm building out of poplar with some form of white vinyl stretched over it. Not too different from original. I have not bothered taking pictures yet; goin off my current woodworking skills, I may not want to... :D
