Tombstone - Where did you take these pictures at? The orange and black
truck is from my home town. You can read Hamilton Bros on the door. One of these brothers is still alive today. His name is Albert, he's in his 90's and lives in Grande Cache, Alberta. The company, Grimshaw Trucking was started around 48 or 49. They used to build winter road across Great Slave Lake from Hay River to Yellowknife long before there was a road.

 

I can contribute to this one... =) I'm not a big fan of these trucks, but I can dig a good one when I see it. This was an award winning Coe I found at the Choppers Rod and Custom Show around Cleveland a few months ago. I love this color. It had several mods to it, things like interior, brakes, sound system, tail lights, and a few other things. It was very nicely done.

 

I built the blue '46 a few years ago and I found the AD wrecker sitting on the side of the road in AZ this winter

 

I saw that wrecker sitting there a few years ago. Were you able to buy it?

 

NO, I wasn't interested in buying it. I think it's just a rolling bill board for a towing business.

I've seen Yorkton Transfer trucks before (I live down the highway) but not that one. That looks like it could be sitting in a truck boneyard in Marshall, sk. (I think)

 

You're right, it is Marshall but the truck has been sold.

 

I love the old coe's I want to do one but I have other projects I need to finish and move before I can.

 

Here are a couple that are just sitting waiting for a new owner or the time to build them. One is 39 Chevy and the other about a 47 White 3000.

 

I am going to look at a 56 ford coe this weekend, might be a new owner if its not a piece
Has anybody ever seen this one? Can anybody find more picks of this one, reallly would like to see a better pick I have lloked all over cant find a better pick, found it under google search ford cab over, It looks like it has a tandem rear setup?
