My favorite pre war would have to be a 1936 Ford 3 window coupe...in that rich, dark blue...spare on the trunk...mmmmm

Hmmm..from the 1940's...a 1949 Ford Businessman's coupe..black or course..gray interior with a V8. Clean, simple, exudes that old school moonshine hauler appearance.

My favorite from the 50's would have to be a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, post model. My Dad had more than a couple of them when I was growing up. I remember in 3rd grade, we were out riding around in Largo, FL on East Bay Drive. It was nighttime and a cop started chasing us. My Dad just downshifted the old Chevy and off we went. Lost the cop in a minute or two and ran home. I seem to remember it was a 292" 283 with a 4 speed. Dark green with "Wildfire" painted on the trunklid by my Mom.

No way could I say no one to one if it followed me home! I like the smoothness of the lines and pure, simple beauty of the '55.

So interesting to see all the different opinions. I have a long list of favorites but I'm gonna say top of the list is a 1939 Lincoln Zephyr 3 window coupe.
