Does anyone know of a meet up and caravan to eagle field from sacramento? Or in fresno? I'm coming from sac it would be cool to drive down with a group but I'm the only one out of the bunch of people I know of coming out...

 

It would be a waste of time/gas for you to come all the way to Fresno and then backtrack to Dos Palos.

 

oh ok, do you recommend i go down I-5 instead and cut over to dos palos?

Take I-5 south to the Mercy Springs RD exit (I'm told 1st exit after HWY152), go left over the Interstate and at the bottom of the overpass turn RIGHT on Pole Line RD. Follow Pole Line RD and after you cross a canal watch for and turn left ("T" Intersection) on Eagle Field Road. Follow Eagle Field RD and it will turn into Althea, Eagle Field will be on your left. I believe you'll cross 2 canals, 1 just after you turn onto Eagle Field RD and another just before the LH turn you'll make to Eagle Field. If you get to the STOP sign at Althea and Russell you went about 1/2 mile too far. Here is a map and you can go to eaglefielddrags.com for more info. Rocky

Well......We started pre-printing shirts this morning....still gotta finish some signage for Rocky ...THEN I can start gettin the wifes car ready to make passes. We're also going to try to bring the boys junior dragster out to at least show...he MAY make a few passes.

Hey Rocky,

I'm think about going and just wanted to know is this event just for racing or is there a car show there also? My truck is more of a show truck and I don't really race it.

 

There is a show and shine with some room in the hanger. Then there is a show area in the dirt near the racing. Well I'm going to sign off now with no time to check in until sunday or monday. See Ya at the RACES! Rocky
