    1 Week 'till Santa Maria!

    - I made a temporary bed floor (plywood screwed down to wood blocks thru the rotten original floor)
    - I'm getting 1 of the tires that has a split sidewall replaced today.
    - Sunday, if everything works out, I'll have the pickup lowered and the seatbelts installed.
    - Next week I'll install the floor insulation and rubber floor mat.

Man, I'm having fun with my Apache!

Joe, I would start applying a good thread soak to this tonight.... If you have or can get "KROIL" use it. Otherwise I would go with your Favorite and douche everything down good every night between now and when your start taking it apart. Most of mine came apart after thread soaking pretty well... Some stuff was picky however like the rear u-bolts. Those got torched.

    Just an idea...

I spent some quality time under there yesterday afternoon with a can of WD40 (high quality, San Diego company!)... Tonight I hit it again with the Marvel Mystery spray.

This morning on the way to work, the pickup was super quiet and was riding better. Nothing nicer than lubed springs!

    I'm on it!

Did you take the truck to TJ yet to get painted I believe you said? Or did I miss that part.
    Cool pickup!
