    We built an oldie a few years ago, also trying to keep the old vibe. Added about 40 feet of tubing so we could run street nite etc. One of the few carsI wished I'd kept.

    This is too cool. I was just out at the NHRA museum and saw this Dragmaster style, adjacent to the Mickey Thompson display, guess you know what motor I'll have. Will these p*** NHRA tech since even Ole Daze drags have to meet their rules?

    Nice, looks like those would be a hoot to build and drive, even done on a very small budget.

    I'm no ch***is designer, but wouldn't a little brace in one or both of the places I've marked on the attached pic stiffen things up a bit? Seems to me that the area might flex and possibly become a trouble spot if the front end got dropped hard a couple of times after a wheels-up launch.

    At $2Gs this is getting just too tempting! Tres cool and I'm sure there are going to be a lot of orders coming through.
