1927 Ford Touring build - The beginning

  1. Yes. the concrete floor does not have any re-bar hence all the cracks. right now the pit is filled with pea gravel. the house was built in "41". i hope to salvage it one day.
     
  2. Thanks! Its funny... when we were potty training him i gave him the small books to read... Now he rattles of deuce coupe or roadster when he sees them going down the street. Priceless!

    Looks like you've collected some awesome parts for this build. I would kill for a T touring body in that shape as I've had one built in my head for years. When you find one around here it's usually a rust stain on the ground in the shape of a T touring.:)

    awesome. i want one someday too. and i have almost all the parts to build one except the body. looking forward to seeing more updates of yours.

    1927 T touring body
    Model A frame
    1939 Ford rear and front axles
    1939 Ford floor shift trans
    1939 Ford pedals
    1952 Merc 255, .030 overbore rebuilt engine
    1937 Ford banjo steering wheel
    16" Ford wires all around with big 'n' littles

    [​IMG] I'd take 3Window Larry's advice. Great project, and it is a '27 with the later side curtain rod holes in the doors.

  23. I almost missed out on getting this tub, It was destined to go to the Pleasanton Goodguys show swap meet... i picked it up 3 days before the show.

  26. Thanks man, DEan has been hanging out in the garage with me lately...Ive got the 3 speed sitting on a moving dolly, Everytime he comes in the garage...he ask's if he can play with it.
