Once again, nice show so far everyone! I'm going to get mine in here and go back and finish looking at the other pages.

Some new pictures from a small carshow and a few from a friend's yard: There's quite a few of the one 56 Chevy, but I just couldn't resist it.

:D If thats your t, definitely hit me up with your address and I'll send ya a copy. It might not be a perfect portrait of yer car, but you can definitely consider yours the main source of inspiration!

  12. Todd, I'm pretty side Eric is a 'Burger. He just keeps a low profile.

My 11 year old, Matthew, a previous contributer to the F.A.S., asked me to post his latest creation. He wanted to try his 'hand' at modeling clay. He first
did a fairly convincing A roadster with the nose in the air, flames bursting from the lake dumps and grossly disproportionately small wheels. He trashed that and instead created this pickup. I call it the "Mud Truck" and think, if it resembles anything, could be a H.A.M.B. friendly 61-62 Ford Styleside.

I've followed Mud Truck with a '56 Chevy Gasser model he built last summer. He painted and built this with very little guidence tho I think I did the radio and dash details... (and probably, well, definitely, the chrome tape.) I know it should be on the Sunday Models but to me, from his perspective, it's art.

Ervin- diggin it! Candy-like clean render, no BS. Nice style.

@ShortBus- Sweet photos! You're really good at controlling color and keeping it to a tastefully limited palette.

@robschwager- I second DaveGCF. Diggin your raw approach with retaining the rivets and naturally-cut edges. That would look great in my living room, or better yet, in a museum. It deserves a museum, actually.

@metalhotrodgirl- Gotta learn more about this muddy weekend thing (I'm new here). From your photo it looks like a blast!

@HIDDEN- I love your minimalist high-impact graphic style!

This is a "restoration" I did this week of a unique bus that was discussed on this board recently. Hoping to find the original thread with more info about the bus, but search hasn't turned up anything. Here are my renderings:

And this is the actual bus that was posted on these boards:

Inspiring work guys. By the way, I'm new here. Looking forward to seeing more. Later!

  17. Hey, interpolactic thanks man. I posted that purple Merc last week.

I'm sorry to see the Zombies ran you over
during the Big bus's Restoration transformation.
    That's a nicely done clean-up image.

Awesome show guys. Sonny Depalma, your artwork is top drawer. If I were younger, I'd ask for your bikini model's phone number. Here is my contribution. I call it "The Hitchiker".

Great art everyone! Always an awesome variety of work. Sheesh its a long time since I've contributed to Friday Art Show! I'll try to jump in more often by starting with this. It's a digital render of Jive-Bomber's wagon. I used a combo of Photoshop & Illustrator.
