Just wondering what your thoughts are on the flat Brookville deuce firewall as far as fitment go. I have an original for my real 5w deuce but am leary of cutting it up to make room for a 354 hemi.

You're going to have to cut into your hood too so what are you doing there?

I have a flat Brookville firewall that I clamped to my three window body. The fit seemed fine to me. I also clamped a genie ford unit to the body and the fit seemed to be very close to being the same. I stood the two
firewalls up against each other and the profile was very good. I plan to use the genie to insure proper body shape during body rebuilding efforts.
The brookville unit will then be modified to allow setback of a 354 hemi
motor. This should allow the genie to survive for some else to use.

  8. What is this the '32 restorers board?

If you don't have one at all, buy a repop, if you have an original cut it up. Just my cranky old guy opinion....worth squat.

Enjoy the fact that you have a gennie then do what you need to do to make things fit. There's nothing quite like original Henry steel!

I have one in my tub. The fit is actually pretty good and there is more than enough metal to allow you to trim to fit in around the trans area. It also comes with new feet which you will have to fit and attach yourself. radiator support rod brackets did not come with it though. I'd buy another if I was building another deuce. Dave
