Was a lot of rookies out there this weekend. I made my rookie p*** on Sun morning in the 1953 ford brew 102 car, and that's a great feeling going between the banners at the finish line.

 

I was actually ready to just glance at the words and photos in this thread, but when I read the first few sentences, I sat up straight and paid attenion to every word. What a great adventure!! Creating memories that'll never leave you and your family...and friends.
Now you GOTTA put that puppy back together and get out there again. And, be sure to post words and photos. SUPER congratulations!!

You can only hope you make it more than 3/4 the way on that task anyway. Or maybe you should be so lucky to make it 3/4 the way. Either way you wouldn't have petered out, if you know what I mean. Kinda like your bike ride, huh?

outstanding will see you in the return lane, then you can take your time slip to the starter and have them sign it.

 

You know how this works, I got the parts but the cylinder and head are out being reworked bigger, better, faster, and hope it makes it through the lights? It started out on the cheap for fun but now the fun is over, lets go racing!

Hey Lance, did you see that the SCTA is initiating a new rule that all bikes running 200+ need race tires now? Just want to give you the heads up before it becomes a problem.

 

HAHAHA? I was gonna run a race tire in the front (better size) but I was told it wouldnt p*** due to no speed ratings? How fast does a Pro Stock bike run down the 1/4? So why wouldn't it work on the dirt?

 

Cool project Lance. It WILL get more expensive but more fun also
