Went back over to pick up a 67 z28 intake for a guy and snagged the 6X2 and some Cool vintage Edelbrock VC's. Got the VC's for $75 and the Intake with carbs and linkage for $800. I might have to put a SBC in my Steel 26 roadster build after all! :)

Right now it would be hard to take any pics of it because its in a million pieces. I'm going to mock it all up next week and I'll take some pics.

Yeah the linkage is kind of wild, but it so smoothly it feels like it's only tweeking one 2bbl carb. The set-up used to be on an old 55 chevy drag car. The guy I bought it from had it for years and around 1979 it was in the trunk of a car he owned that was stolen. About 5 years later he sees it at a swap meet and tells the guy it was his and was stolen. The swap meet guy gave him a break on it and he bought his own intake back!!

Here's a Pontiac one. I run the smaller rochesters from the pont. buick olds '62 215ci v8's on the centers. Get an Innovate wide band air fuel ratio meter to tune the thing.

Thanks. I thought about that one for a while. Ended up using '61 Merc Meteor tail light bezels for it.

Yes, I like that a LOT the way you did that hood. Looks like something you would see on a dream car or factory auto show prototype. Kind of like the SS camaro hood only functional!!

Thanks. The stacks are all different lengths so they appear level when the hood is shut. By the way I have 44 and 46 jets in the center carbs and a mix of 49's and 50's in the outer carbs. My motor is a .030 over 389. I would be interested to see how yours was jetted. All my power valves are plugged too.
