Hell...I'd drive either of them...( well...I'd probably not drive the 4x4 one until it was dropped back to what I consider a reasonable stance...) I'm not saying anything about them that is specifically bad. By "cookie-cutter" I only mean that, IMO, when I am surrounded by a couple hundred cars, or more, I'd sure like some variety, even if I don't like all of the styles present...otherwise, it's just like NASCAR...;)
    I avoid ANY "kits", as a rule...lol...;)
And, if you ask a few folks on here, I'm sure they will tell you I'm not really a truly "traditional" guy, anyway...I have very broad tastes, and appreciate above anything, variety.
That is my only real point...
I like to see all sorts of differing approaches to building race cars when I'm at the track.
For the street, again only MY opinion, I would never even build something like either of these cars.

I can sort of understand the sorrow at hundreds of hacked-up 55 Chevies, in pursuit of a trend, though...I guess that that might be part of the reason I chose to butcher a $ 500.00 pickup...;) It's also, while a tribute in style, and approach, not exactly like they have been building them for 60 years...thus adding variety to any Camaro-stocked staging lanes...
Less guilt...The value of a '55, to a poor guy like me, is WAYYYY too high...I'd leave mine the hell alone, if I actually ever could afford to have one! haha...

Well the 6 speed is actually sitting in my garage for my Cadilalc project. I got a song of a deal on it and to put it in the truck would cost me just the installation, but even though it would't cost much it for sure take sit out of the low buck catagory. But that was just a whim its not going to happen the Richmond really belongs in a 4door sled behind a turbocharged 500. I will post some updates tonight and some burnout stuff tomorrow. Thanks for keeping intrest..
