Holy ****, that looks like a pretty nice score. I certainly could have used a score like that since my '32 did not come with quarters. I'm logging on to craigslist right now.

Are you crazy? You can sell a gallon bucket of rust from a 32 Ford and make money on it. If you find any 32 Fords you are going to p*** on let me know.

No thats a nice score. That wouldnt scare me at all, and you could go several ways. You could, as mentioned, do a channled roadster, you could do a sport coupe with a chop, you could look for a 3 window top for it or even a 5 window top. the cowl is good and the rear section looks saveable. Good job!

For all on the post, if you look just punch in craiglook, you can search the whole craigslist for stuff. I normally type in 1932 Ford fender for example.
Makes some of the searches easier.

I don't care for the valve covers...but my wife could use them. She makes killer banana bread! ;)

  7. Buy a Fordor top and piece it back together as a 5W. I happen to know where a really nice Fordor top is...:D

A set of 32 rails, some work, a new lower back panel, some work, a totally different windshield treatment, some work, look out, a new hot rod channeled roadster hits the road with a smiling wildman behind the wheel!

    Sounds like a plan.

I am planning on building it for sure. I think roadster is the only way to go. Duvall windshield, cut the doors loose and order a brookville catalog. :) Thanks for all the comments. I would love to see some more 5 windows turned roadsters.

Your dash insert is probably from a '30s Packard. Looks like it's in good shape. Nice job.

Im sure you can make a buck on it....but I still havnt heard what you paid for it all. Sure, if you get a bucket of cow **** cheap enough, you can find someone to give you more for it....But I was refering more to building it rather then trying to sell it.....Ive been into building, buying and selling rods for many years......I still wouldnt take that rust bucket. sorry, but thats just my opinion.....

Funny ****, that's cl***ic! Or a '32 Ford can be put back together again from a five gallon bucket of rust!

From what you've posted in the past I have no doubt that is true. However I think the important thing is how many of those "customers" would shoot you on site if they ever crossed paths with you again. There's a ****er born every minute.......the challenge is finding one who hasn't wised up yet. Your still alive so I'm guessing your REALLY good at it.:(

Due to the tombstone shaped gauge in the center it's probably an early 30's Packard gauge cluster and dash. The dash in my '37 looks much wider...

YEA ok..... If you have been building, buying and selling rods for years you would know what 32 fords and parts are worth....

Mine was a 5W, lost it's roof on the west coast, so I am not going there to look for it :)

I like cabriolets with roll up windows. I am trying to make cabriolet door tops from some 31 Dodge sedan doorskin pieces, including latches, hinges, and inner door skins. Made my own upper windshield posts, and top header piece. I modified a 28 Dodge truck w/s frame .

I may either make a folding roof, or a carson, but it will have a top.

It may be just a coupster, but it's still a hotrod

  30. Tuck it away and wait for the rest of it to find you. Or part it out for a profit and put that money towards a real roadster or coupe.
