Great job! Good to see the "young guys" getting into it! Good choice for engine as well...love those ponchos. Won't take a lot of gear to get them moving...don't go crazy and make it too high for the street. Those Pontiacs don't like to rev too high anyway. A change of wheels and tires will make all the difference... again, nice job! Spike
That is one great looking hot rod. Drive the wheels off of it before the winter hits. Congratulations, you did a very good job.
That your wife digs it that much makes this so much sweeter. Here's to many happy miles down the road. I have an exact spare steering wheel for you that i used on a 30' model A coupe project i did in 1983. small world.
Honestly if it wasn't for my wife, the car would still be far from drivable. She was very understanding about all those Saturdays that I spent in the garage.
That is awesome, nothing like taking the first ride after all of the hard work! I think it looks fantastic and isn't ugly at all! Keep driving.... SpeedAddict001
Thanks. I guess I call it ugly because so many of the rods on the HAMB are sooo nice. It's quite intimidating to be posting my car on the same board with Littleman and Bass.... ya know??? LOL
It is cool that your wife was able to ride with you on the 1st drive..... The 1st time out of the driveway is one of the coolest feelings......
Good for you --- Congrats, man! HAS to be a great feeling to have your coupe on the road, for sure... Malcolm
Good deal. I know the feeling. Nothing better and I only spent 5 years on mine. Where in North Jersey you at?? Todd
Nothing is quite like the first real maiden voyage run..after countless trips up and down the driveway and around the block. congrats
