We got up early, packed up the kids, and took the 1 1/2 hour trip to Louisville. What a cool venue and show. Hope you enjoy the pics....
DAMMIT! How come I never get the invites for this stuff? That looks like a great show (and pretty close to my house, too).
Nice pics Cory. Sorry to say I couldn't make it. I was pre-registered but got trumped by Mrs. Trucked Up and a suprise B-Day party. Tough to enjoy myself when I looked forward to making my first Beatersville. O'well can't piss the Mrs. off. That would put a kink into my project funds. Look forward to seeing you in Indy. Know were I might find some panel doors????? Thanks again for easing the pain, or on second thought increasing the pain, with the Beatersville pictures.
As a matter of fact.... I think I might have a set lying around... Glad everyone has enjoyed the pics. On an unrelated note, we bought a 53 Chevy post car yesterday out of Iowa. I'm so excited I can't wait to start. Pics to come later
We had a big time, but man was it hot! Shawn and Scott do a great job with the show and getting all the cars crammed into the area they've got to work with. As far as I know there was no 'cooler drama' this year - haha. Thanks again to the newest 'PoorBoy' Pete (Dr. Fishstein) for putting us all up again this year. I took about 150 pics I intended to share but my computer's locked up.
I have been trying to get to this show for three years and finally made it...It was one of my favorites. Wont miss it again. Just wish I hadnt tore my truck apart before the show. I cant stand going to a show without somthing to drive in. Gator..It was good to see you out there and by the way Chris and his band were rock'n on stage.
Thanks again to the PoorBoys and all those that made it out to the show and the BBQ ....Next year join the Poorboys for the Pre-Beatersville BBQ at the Doctors House....
