Thats a great diorama! Looks like its' been restored (and it needed it) IF its the same one thats made the rounds for years. Always caught my attention at shows. If not it is still a great reproduction of Kaiser Auditorium, home of the original GNRS.

 

Any idea what hood ornament this is? I've been looking for something like this.

 

Wvenfield, where's the rest of the Pierce Arrow? Sixdogs, I think it the devil thumbing his nose hood ornament.

 

It's a car that's going to come up at a local auction. I don't know the story (yet).

Thank you. Now that you mention it, I sort of remember the thumb hood ornament. Was it very popular? While I really like the idea, and would have bought one, it seems on the edges for a more conservative time.
I'm 61 now and I do recall the kids thumbing our noses at each other, like the statue, as an "secret" greeting.
