My car has a red interior. The exterior is currently red and in need of a new paint job. I know black and white will go with it okay but will any other colors go with it and not look stupid? It is a convertible so it will definately show. Maybe burgundy??

here is the car now. It has different wheels on it now dont worry:) Im just not a big fan of red cars, and it needs a paint job badly, its actually faded to pink.

If I had a convertible with a red interior, i'd paint it black in a heart beat. I'm a huge fan of black on red cars. especially early 60's fords.

Black but upkeep is not fun

The correct burgundy looked real good on some early 60s GMs...depends a lot on the exact shade of the reds inside, though.

A nice simple white, not the factory Wimbledon white, something really nice and bright and clean would really sharpen up this little car. If you're ever thinking of selling though, repaint in red. Don't shoot off your foot because your eyes are sore!

  15. I love black with a red interior -- but you need to have the body nice and straight and be prepared for the upkeep. Another color that goes very well with red is a cream color. Easy on the upkeep, cool for hot climates and the body doesn't have to be quite as nice . . .

But me . . . hell, I'd work on the body until it was straight and probably end up with black anyway :D

Our new '64 Mustang was White with a red interior, so I'm pretty partial to that combo.

I think on this Falcon tho, black would look very sharp if the body is straight.

Stay with the same red and you don't have to mess with the door jambs.
I think usually "cute" compact/small cars look "ostentatious" painted Black, so don't.
Gold, Copper or Goldenrod Yellow would be my choice if you don't like the Red.
Only Rolls Royces and for some reason, '64 Chevy's look good painted White.

Ivory. Think Chrysler Cool Vanilla, or whatever it's called. Looks great with RED interior. Here's a picture of my 356. Sorry that I don't have a shot that shows the color and the interior at the same time but you get the picture.

I kinda wanted to get away from black or white and do domething a little different. Mayble I will just panel and lace it or seaweed flame it from front to back lol...

I've done several cars in Wheatland Yellow (80 GMC) with red interiors. Did the 04 NSRA giveaway 30 roadster pu that way and it was a hit.

Dark Green goes well with red, too. And that would be different!

Red and yellow-mustard and catchup/Ronald McDonald.Silver Idea sounds good.Keep it red and no worries`s about door jams as mentioned, Red w/ silver or cream scallops would look nice.
