My Daughter and I have been going to the west Coast Kustoms show in Paso since she was in the 5th grade; it has always been our father / daughter show. Well, we missed the first Santa Maria one because I was sick and the second because I broke the 36 and was to pissed to go without it. But this year we rolled up the coast in the ACME van and had a really great weekend.

Penny P. and the crew from West Coast Kustoms did a great job. The show was well organized and it went off without a hitch.

Here are some random photos from our trip, starting with some of the "winner's circle cars" that were by our booth. Unfortunatly as a vendor at the show I did not get much time for walking around which means my photos are only the cars that were close to me.

The ACME CAMP. Thanks to everyone that stopped by to say HI.

Me and my buddy Sammy. The ACME van did great; this was the first road trip with it and we did about 500 miles with no issues. Keep on Vanin!

There were a lot of people that asked if they could get in the van to take their pictures. This kid spent at least an hour pretending to drive it. I have dubbed it "the HAPPY VAN" ' because it gets a lot of smiles and waves.

We only got a few driving shots; my co-pilot daughter was slacking on the job (actually sleeping on the best part of the drive north).

And finally a goof-off shot with my daughter. I am a lucky father to have a kid that still wants to hang out with me.

What powers the Acme Van? It sure is a Looker! Love the solids, and the stance...

Love the van! Do you have a build thread?

I can only hope my son and I can continue to do the same. Times like that should remind you, you did something right!

You left the show before i could leave the gate, good thing or you would be putting up wanted posters for the van back! Loved it. Chip.

Hey man it was nice meeting you at your booth. Sorry that Zephyr emblem didn't work out for you. Did you ever get a chance to run into Merv at the show?

No I never saw Merv, but enjoyed meeting you. I did notive that the guy with the tan 38 3-window needs the emblem I got from you.

Does anyone know who owns the tan 3-window Zephyr that was at the show?

So the Metro is both a company vehicle and a ''sin-wagon''...........whata the yuppies call that, Multi Tasking ?

On another subject, tha taillights on your '36, are they '34 LaSalle?

    Thanx for the peektures.

Those are 37 Zephyr taillights on the 36. I just sold 2 pair to keep my current project rolling. A decent pair usually run $500.00 to $800.00. They really look sweet on the 36.
