That's a nice link, and a good idea, but... Being the owner of a Chris Craft runabout (and a '36 Ford "Roadster") with those posts on it, I'm going to float the idea that unless you have a roadster with a really flat, wide, cowl top, like the deck of a boat, for the amount of money invested in these rough castings, a roadster owner would be better off buying a set of Duvall type w/s frames. Boat posts aren't shaped right, fit right, or, for the most part, look right on anything but a boat. I sat an extra set of boat frames on the '36 cowl, they don't come anywhere close to being right for a car, at least not a '36. Unless you don't care if the front of w/s is out over the hood, and the side posts are leaned outboard at about a 45 degree angle, or the w/s is so narrow it looks like a beanie on a fat guys head.
