The weather forecast is looking GOOD.

There should be quite a few NEW partcipants this year in addition to some of the regular ones.

We usually have a good crowd of on lookers and well wishers @ the take off starting point ... so all HAMBERS feel WELCOME to come, visit and socialize @ the Target meeting spot.

Put on a new alternator today. That may have cured the the wierd gauge problem, in addition to the lower than normal charging rate, but won't know for sure until I take it for a spin. But first have to get the broken radiator support rod bracket welded up in the morning on that wonderful Aluminum radiator. If it's not one thing, it's three. But we're gunna make it.

Oh come on Danny - we are leaving at 5 AM from Greenville and are only about 27 miles less than you - do you need a tow?

Just kidding of course,,,going to the breakfast to see Lee from FL, their ETA is 7-7:30 AM I think.

We will not be doing the pink caboose job this year but loved that we were allowed to do it last year. Those roads are just not the same in a Caddy compared to a deuce :(

Spent a good part of the day going over the ol' Rock Chip Special checking and double checking everything. It's been a year since we've been on a semi-long trip other than Billetproof here in Florida - Austin last year. Broke the day up by handing off my mom who lives with us to my kid brother down in Lauderdale - glad he met me half way. So Charlotte here we come ready or not bright and early tomorrow morning.

Randy I had been looking at the Mooresville Cruise to round out our weekend up there. Guess we'll go over to "the pit" Friday night and see what's up. Saturday sounds huge. All subject to change though now that the Road Rash flyer has been posted. See you guys Saturday for Hot Cakes.

Deuce we'll be at the Mooresville Cruise that night after the Puckett's thing. This is really going to turn out to be a really cool weekend.

Breakfast with the Iron Lords @ 7-9am
    Deuce Run 10am
    Road Rash 3pm
    Mooresville Cruise 5pm

It's either nothing or everything I guess!!!

    Sounds GOOD.

I think that the MRS and I will try to do the Cruise in @ Mooresville.
We usually go a extra 150 miles out of the way ( to Anderson SC with HRP ) for a cruise night there.

But ... they are NOT having one ... So Mooresville looks promising.

  14. randy, mooresville usually has a large turnout, lots of parking, streets are blocked off. See you guys saturday a.m. Henry

This time tomorrow you guys will be cruising the nicest road in America! I have yet had the pleasure of driving that in an Old Car but I am hoping to be there soon either with my own '32 or in my '35 at a different time.

    See you guys tomorrow!!!

Took a swing by the Mooresville Friday night activity. Kinda slow. But while we were out I did pick up a new decklid for the roadster off the local Craigslist. Thanks Jesse. The roadster's in bed for the night and I'm not far behind. Dreams of Hotcakes and '32s coming up.

Talk about a full day. Hot Cakes with the Iron Lords at 7:30 AM then over to meet up with the 20 or so deuces that were cruising up to Blowing Rock. Back down to Mooresville for the cruise night with only a few miles of rain along the way. Thanks to the Iron Lords, Ken & Vicki, Randy, Danny, Henry, and all the other Deuce folks for showing this Florida boy a good time today. Now all we need is pics.

  24. I had a great time! After trying to make this run for the last three years I can say it was all I had hoped. Met some good people and thouroughly enjoyed the day. I didn't get too many driving shots as I was by myself, hope some others got some. Here are some I snapped at the last overlook. If you have a Deuce start making plans for 2011 now...let's get 50 cars next year.

Like most everyone else ... who went Saturday The wife and I had a GREAT TIME.

Left the house before 5 A.M. to drive to Concord NC and have breakfast with the IRON LORDS. Met some new friends and saw some old ones also.

Drove over to the ALL DEUCES meeting area and looked at a bunch of 32 Fords. Did the ALL DEUCE run and then drove back to Mooresville for their cruise-in.

    Drove almost 600 miles and got home after 10 P.M. :D :D

This man was a first time ALL DEUCE run partcipant ... he is Kurt and Kyle Buschs father. ( Nascar Sprint Cup drivers ) He was driving a 32 5 window.
