man i love that drive! i was in lake nacimento for a few days! i couldnt stay for the show, but i have to say, thats one of the best drives anyone can do! i did it on our way home from working on the lake house in my work truck. i cant wait to do it in the 49!

It was GREAT meeting you and your lovely wife. I'm glad we got the opportunity to do dinner together. That seafood place was amazing. Looking forward to seeing you guys again soon. Hopefully during a visit to San Diego in the near future.

No I did not. The wife and I were on vacation for our 11th anniversary last week and Santa Maria was one stop along the way.

 

It was a kick hanging out with you and Megan.. Dinner at Steamers was excellent. When are you coming to San Diego? I'll make you some tacos!

Thanks for the pics. It's nice to see the cruise and sights to get a small taste of what it's like being there. Nothing comes close to that here in SoDak and I believe I'd have to admited to a hospital to be treated for "awesome car show overload" if I were there! Someday I'll get out there...

Excellent eye with the camera work, love the shots, great stuff! Bummer of a view at the ol' hotel in Pismo. I'm sure it just made ya wanna pick up an' leave. (LUCKY DOG.......!!!) Man, I'm diggin' the truck, glad it made a flawless trip. Thanks for postin' up.

Just a few miles from the Hitchin Post. In fact I was here last year at this time too!!

 

Man O Man! Some very cool shots. Looking at the background of the pictures and seeing the city was like a homesick moment for me as we moved east back in 2003 from Santa Maria to Ohio. As a former member of Headhunters and still in touch with most of the members it was a "old home week" for me looking thru your post. KustomKat is my kustom soul mate and a very good friend.....Thanks again!

 

Great pictures Joe! Driving next to the Jade Idol must have been pretty neat. Cars are so much better when they are moving.

 

That picture is great w/ the two Bomba s****ing, also those w/ the caravan of Bombs cruisin the country roads are pretty priceless!
