    Doesn't the McDonald's logo in the background look too modern to fit the era of the rest of the photo? It's like a science fiction image from a parallel dimension! Gary

    That's 77 to mid 80s. Look at the Chevy truck in the parade. Probably 80s.
    Saturday Night Fever came out or was filmed in 77.

    Not so vintage for us "seasoned" guys but for the HAMBers born in the late 70s, 80s and later, this was before they were born.
    It's all perspective.

  13. Overland Motors had a manufacturing plant in KC at 21st & Grand.

    This one is dated 1915:

    This is tagged "an unidentified auto plant, 1930s" and I wonder if it's the Overland plant.

  14. Looks to have been a speedster T. I guess if there's any thing that could be considered "good" out of this event is that the building in the background was General Hospital....

  15. I think the picture is newer than you think, check out the Honda in the forground and the truck in the back... late '70s, early '80s?

    Gary, according to this photo I found from 2176, they will continue to use the same logo in the future.
