Thanks for the photos. I was there most of the day and missed some of the cars you got photos of.

Here is a photo of I think Sloppyseconds Buick making a drive by the stands with the other car show winners. They did not anounce who won what. They just said here are our car show winners.

One of the highlights was that car sideways at the Christmas tree.

Does anybody know if Mike Bamber still owns the "Silver Dollar" Willy's Pickup? Mike was my "right down the street" neighbor up until I moved 5 years ago...the Willys was in his barn out on North Broadway in Escondido... bought a couple of VWs from him, but at the time, the Willys wasn't for sale.

Thanks for the photos Doug . I can remember Elmer Snyder at COTATI drag strip 1960 it was all silver at the time it had a Algon inj chevy the ch***is was solid mounted i was 14 years old. Mike.

 

Some of the best event coverage I've seen. Good cross section of cars and great detail shots. Next best thing to being there. Thanks for sharing!
