Its still alive and well, I think it was in primer but not 100% certain on that . There was a thread a while back on historical Canadian customs and there were some really cool pics of it over the years.
so hard to choose! my all time is the saint vasquez convert. but a very close second is this hambers sedan...I hope to replicate someday. **also a color pic of that canadian with the lincoln headlights mentioned a few posts back-
The last I knew a fella named Terry Kong owned the car and drove it a lot to events in B.C. and Washington.
Here is pic of my old '50.I've got better pictures, buy they're on a computer that isn't working right now.
My vote goes to the Valencia Chevy too, there is a lot of other cool chevys to like the dan landon 49 and carl abajian's 49, but I have been in love with the Jesus' chevy since the first time I saw it on print.
Admittedly, I have way too many "favorites", but the Jesus Valencia Coupe is at the top of the list. Does anyone one know where it is now?
"Hmmmm... Strange I had to scroll back up to see if my eyes were okay..." Exactly Must be an east coast thing.....
Yup, I did a search - here's the thread: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47079&highlight=canadian+customs Great photos in there - thanks for passing that info along. I should've known a car like that would turn up here somewhere.. That is a neat shot, especially in color. Thanks for posting! Great to hear that a car of that caliber is still being cared for - and driven - today. If I ever win the lottery, I think I might have to look him up!!
this one is mine hasnt gotten very much attention since its a mild kustom but i love it and am happy with what ive done hope you guys like it too
I think my 50 is my favorite by far, but then again, It's still being built and I am a lil biased. The black & green 53 is a close second and I have a pic of it readily available. I also tossed in a few others I really find inspiring.
Lucky 444's '51 that we got to tour Honolulu in last week. That's my new favorite. Killer ride with that 6 banger singing out the back. Kevin
Anybody remember the article that Ganahl did about the three Chebbies he had a hand in? Was it in TRJ or R&C? What issue?
