I've spent the last couple/ few months spending countless hours setting my Lincoln up and getting ready for the show season. Here are only some after pics. I will put up a build thread soon. Just excited to share these pics immediately following the maiden voyage. 1st time I drove it after huge makeover was straight to this show. I lost a headlight bezel on the way to the show. LAME! but fixeable. One trip to chrome shop should fix it...

I painted, flaked and faded paint myself to look like an old Fender Strat guitar kinda. And that is my crazy lookin stepvan, and also my panhead. The Virgin Guad is sumthin that lays around my shop. I decided to paint her with some nice candy colors and leave her out to p*** biz cards out at shows. Those ***s don't belong to me in anyway. Just the type of pics I like to take at events like so! And thats my buddy Big 5 after a few ****tails down below. He's ****face as you can see. Too much Capt Morgans

sorry so many posts. Can't figure out how to cover all your ques in just 1 post.... as for drivetrain and ch***is, I am certainly not done, but here it goes:

    *Chevy 350/700r
*orig rear end about to get swapped out with s10 rear end (same width)
*front end is all original, but I do plan on possibly doin a power steering rack conversion and ford granada spindles with disc brakes and power booster soon. Those are common things done to 50's mercs, so I'm sure it should all fit in there with some manipulation (huge hammer works most of the time).
*I 4 linked rear, cantilevered bags. 4 link is triangulated as well.
*about to pull engine to paint firewall and detail frame a lil under the hood area
*never cut the trunk out to get this low. but things are very tight under there!
*shaved all trim mostly and lowered fender skirt til it hits the floor. Tight squeeze around tire!

my new cop buddy and my p***enger door striping. I have a new found respect for stripers that can letter good and do great scroll work. I take credit for the style of lettering and the scroll design for I drew it, but I could've gone through enough stripers to not count on all your fingers and toes and then some, but they couldn't have touched this dude's ability to lay down what I was thinking exactly. He nailed it! Hard to trust a striper, and if you don't like it, you practically have to sand it off. Not today!

The man of the hour! Hey Patrick! I'm glad you're on here! I just wanna say that I appreciate that you have such a great talent putting down exactly what I was thinking. You nailed the lettering style that I love so much. I have to rephrase a previous statement where I said I drew that up. What I meant to say was I had a choice between many of your styles of lettering, which I've seen you nail several styles this weekend, and I got to choose the style I wanted, and you did exactly what I was imagining and drew up in my head, so pure satisfaction man! To me, the worst is when you pay to have something done, and it didn't come out to your vision, well this surp***ed it by far. I'm a fan dude! You'll be hearing from me every time now! And thanks for getting the door handle area so exact to picture I brought ya! I've been online for 2 hours last night getting some cool scroll pics saved to bring to you as ideas. Makes me wanna sand my harley tank and fender down, and come see you soon! Thanks again Pat. You going out to Mooneyes? or Fathers Day show?

Cool I'm stoked you like my work. It was nice to finish off the weekend with your car. I did a lot of distressed lettering this weekend so finishing up with something clean and perfect was good. I take my lettering abilities for granted, I never knew there would be so much demand. I met some good people and made some great contacts. I look forward to working with you again.

Yes to MoonEyes... tell me more about fathers day?

Nice ride ! '52-'54 Lincolns are VERY underused, and look Super Cool when hammered.

Whats happenin Hugh! Ya we wanna put on a local cruise again soon! The last one went so well and we had so many people. It was awesome.

Thx guys for the cool comments! Car is by no means finished. Next is do interior, and then drag it back over to Pat to stripe inside of car and behind front wheel openings in some more fancy scroll work, last but not least, I need to name car and hit the decklid with it to give it some character...
