History Your Favorite 49-52 Chevrolet

I always had a soft spot for Dennis' '52...or as he calls it, the car that should have never been built. I got to see a picture of it before they started, and the work put into this car was incredible.

 

Looks nice, but a 53 never becomes anybodies favourite 49-52 no matter how much you customise it.

I was going to say McPhails Chevy because it is my all time favorite. Since it has already
been posted on the HAMB I thought that I would post my first one that I feel in love with.

the 2 dr fast back was painted black ? i saw that car at maple grove trackfor a good guy show around that time back after selling that one he built a black 50 conv.in my eye they were tjhe 2 best 2 cars he built at lest in my taste

Mckee thanks for posting those pics. It was a surprised to me and a real honor at the same time to be on the cover of Rod & Custom. I don't know if my car is nice enough for a feature because its still a work in progress!

the "wheels" are 1955 studebaker hubcaps, I love those caps, Im actually looking for a set

 

Those pics are great! I've never seen it in anything other than the lavender color it's in now. I like that two tone combo.

 

This one rates right up there, you have to see it in person to see how flawless it is

I love this car, hands down my favorite 49-52 Chevy.. and I am fortunate enough to have met the owner. He lives in Michigan and is a member on the HAMB, his name is Keith...
I have a poster of this car on the wall in my house and find myself just starring at it sometimes.

 

OK, that's perfect, the inline six and column shift sealed the deal. Absolutely love the color. The only thing I would do is to take the black paint off the radiator top and polish the shit out of it.

 

I like everything about it.The colors totally work,the attention to detail,the tailights,Continental kit.....I like this one the best so far.

 

I have always liked not in any particular order the "Los Cochinos" car, the Jesus Valencia car, the background Carson topped one...my inspiration


and of course my 51!
