Posting a couple photos (with permission) that I received from Ed Hedrick. Great to see him still going strong after all these years.

1967 with his record setting NHRA World Champ Cobra


And here in 2010 with his 10.50 Nova. Ed went 6 rounds to win Mod Eliminator at The Best Of Times National (formerly The Little Guy Nationals) at Richmond Dragway on May 16th. Great to see he's still got it!

Great photo ! The unique engine, the wing with 'Champion' big and bold. The driver holding the jug of fuel, and the kid ! The kid eyeballing it with envy and interest. Great shot.

This is the Rooman aka Keith Burgan, making his last pass for his TF license. The car went straight and true and the Roo has now joined the priveleged few who drive the 'Kings of the Sport' Congrats Keith, good job buddy!

Thanks for posting the pic of the Firebird HUG, Nitro! I had saved it another time it was posted, but a virus necessitated a wipe of my computer's memory and that pic went with it. Never knew that name was put onto anything but Barracuda exhibition cars!
