Features Model A's with fenders and running boards... let's see 'em

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by decker, Jun 16, 2010.

  1. While flipping through my Model A pics this evening I realized that of all the pictures of traditional Model A's hot rods I've saved... this was the only one that had fenders and running boards on it

I could see doing a roadster similar to this one... some day. :)

So with that said... let's see some more!!! :D

  10. Now that's what it's all about. :D

FWIW... I think I like it better with the red grille shell and hood but I wouldn't kick it out of my garage. :)

    Stunningly cool

  11. Of course... you finally found a full set of fenders eh? :)

Glad to see it's coming along!!!

Here is a 28 tudor I built a few years ago. It's in New Jersey now.... It was a great car.

I also had this 30 coupe... a friend of mine bought the car from my dad then built it... then I bought it back LOL! It's actually in England now.

  17. I do run the hood but for racing it comes off for extra cooling..and as for the red grill shell....it was just all too red...and to be honest a bit bland..same goes for the steels and Mercury caps...

Nut Rocker's A is very very cool!!

and don't you find it strange lots of the cars on here are from England!!

Has anyone ever done a model a on 32 rails with fenders? Maybe 32 fronts and model a rears. I have been thinking about this and would love to see a pic.

Perfect thread timing! Next week I'm the fenders back on my hiboy for the first time since I finished building it. Mine has a 32 grill, and from the looks of it, the car is going to look good.

    <--- this is my car
