I'd go 15 C's for that if the rust isn't too bad. tough to tell from those pics. but I bet the rust-belters would be all over that for a grand and a half.

I've got a friend that due to major health issues, is selling his nearly completed COE project, that has 2 extra cabs with it. (I'll see if I can get details and pics for you'z guyz.)
It's frikken beautiful, the workmanship is fantastic...and he's practically giving it away.
    stay tuned!

what size engine are you guys using on the car carriers?
i was thinking of putting a chevy 366 BB in mine i want something that can pull a load and not wimp out. my brother told me to try a 366 since its waht they put in the big chevy trucks.
heres a pic of my 41 i got for $600 bucks, it has a dump with two speed with a fresh rebuilt flatty that purrs. i dont have the heart to chop it up and put it on a later chassi , i am just gonna restore it. later i went back to the old guys place to see a auction he was having and bought a 51 coe for $75 with a merc flat head in it.
i am gonna put the 51 on this gmc car carrier that was used to haul a 57 chevy race car back in the day. the owner was killed in the sleeper that was on it. his buddy was driving and lost control and the owner was asleep in the sleeper. some how it came off and flew off the truck. he was killed in it. the and had parked it and never moved it. my dad talked him to selling it cause he wanted the 427 that was in it for his 67 vette and he gave me the bed and chassi to build us a hauler
