    Never tried*****'s Hamburgers have seen them in Spokane Wash. If you ever get up in my neck of the woods Calgary, Alberta try Peters Drive In on 16 Ave X 2 st N.E. the burgers are literally prize winning the portions are out of this world

    Maybe it was, Pops talks about it once in a while, it lasted 3 days

    I wasn't the snow , but it was the wind that made the huge drifts that put a hurting on everyone.

    I look at those pictures and can't help but think, "Man, I'm glad I live in Hawaii now". If I never shovel one scoop of snow again I won't be brokenhearted. LOL

    Thanks for posting all the great photos, what a thread. Photoshop has a colour correct filter which is handy for restoring the colour of some of these images...

    My Dad made his coupe into a pickup and delivered milk in it in the 40's.

    Doodlebug - wow have not heard that term in years! My uncle's neighbor had a an old Reo truck chassis that they called a doodlebug - it could pull a hay rake, a bailer, and two hay wagons. I spent a lot of sweaty summer afternoons on those hay wagons!
