He must of made it himself then because if Ford built one, it's pretty darn rare. I don't see any in the official '33-'34 Ford book written by Cliff Helling. ( a well known '33-34 Ford expert ) for the Early Ford V-8 Club. Got any pictures????

I saw one on craigslist several months ago. Needless to say it had a HUGE asking price.

The only thing "real" about a '33/'34 C-400 is that artist Thom Taylor drew one as a part of a phantom set of '33/'34 ideas. Shortly thereafter, several of his ideas became reality at the hands of talented metalmen.

  6. Never seen a "real" B400 but...

I did watch a HAMBer crush a fiberglass B400 with the bucket on his track loader and run over it a couple times until it was in small enough pieces to fit in the dumpster..... it was just like we were kids again wrecking our old model cars

  7. I've NEVER seen a 'glass B-400 body.

    (AKA - BULLSHIT)

Authentic looking B400's are being created from tudors. I think it's somebody from a northern state (Michigan?). Krylon, aren't you having one done?

There's a fella (non-HAMBER) who bought a tudor from my town and is having it converted.

Don't know. As I wrote, as far as I know the car came from New Zealand, never did see it. Know the guy who brought it.

  18. General Gow, that indeed was the '09 Ridler winner. We talked to the owner for awhile as we took pix. It is a very attractively styled car but not my cup of tea.

  19. I believe it was produced by Ravon Street Rods before they changed owners. The owner who had it built abandoned the project in Ravons storage lot for far too long (body was brittle).

It was crushed by 32ratsass while Ol Deuce, jalopykid and the rest of us stood around and watched.

I'll ask if either of any spectators took pics.

(aka - is that your EGO I smell)

Would love to see some pics though.

there must be a few people doing these i know one went to cornhuskers and e gray

  24. In my book there is a difference between MY never seeing one and calling bullshit.

I called the HAMBer who made them (in a past life) and he indicated he'll dig up some better pics when he gets done turning wrenches this afternoon. He did point me in the direction of a couple past pics from our local show.

this has been a great thread - I'm still waiting for the pix of the purported production C400 (never heard of one, have never seen one). There's gotta be an Early V8 member who is a HAMBer....

Yes I read this to on google search but who's to say it is real!?

Now that is a beautiful creation but it was built off a vicky!

I have a book of production #'s and my book shows no C400's Now if I could only find a 30-31 4 door touring I would be happy....

There was never a C Model anything. The only C reference was a head with a C cast in it and it was only a stock replacement head. It didn't even have a high compression ratio, it was 4.5:1.
