Anyway you cut it, six guys in a 4 door doesn't look as gay as six guys in a Corvette!

I loves my 4 doors. People in the back can open their own door to puke outside. 2 door cars have crusty back seat floorboards.

 

My friends drive their own cars and don't need to be chauffeured around.

Car looks good. Drive what you like. Ive had a few four doors over the years. I don't understand shaving off the rear handles though. Are you embarrassed its a four door? Doesn't seem like it to me. I think you should shave the fronts to match ... That would complete it for me, course its not my car, drive what you like =)

 

I like it, I'd maybe drop it down a few more inches and some white walls. All and all it's a nice ride.

 

This is my first 4 door. Didn't shave the rear handles for anything except to smooth it out a little more. Skirts fit right over the dog legs on the rear. Just more room for more people to enjoy the ride.....

 

It looks like a giant orange ice cream bar. Hell, mine looks like a blue jelly bean. Love me a four door and yours looks great!

I agree about shaving the rear door handles off on a 4 door and leaving the front on. It does not trick anyone into thinking it's a 2 door. It makes the car not look right. If your going to do it shave off all the door handles. I think door handles are ok, and in my personal opinion, they should be shaved off only on full out customs, like cars with a top chop, etc.

LOL. you both thought way to much to this, i wasnt trying to trick anyone into thinking it was a 2 door. i just didnt have the money for this project to buy door poppers ( and ive had bad experience with them before, and could care less about hooking them up.) the rears dont need any so i could shave them off without having to worry about getting in and out, but still have a nice smooth look. thats the reason i only shaved the rears.

 

You don't need poppers. That's what the vent windows are for. Now shave those front handles and blend that paint!

I gotta say though it would look better if it were a 2 door.
I understand that you have to work within your means, and you did a great job.

 

Cool ride, who cares how many doors you have, I personally have always wanted one of those old airport cars with like 6 doors on each side, but then again, thats coming from a guy with no kids thats always been into wagons, I aint right
