I happened to be walking by when the DJ was interviewing him, man the guy looked rough. Said that he got paid $4000 for AG. His T-shirt was so worn, it looked like it was 10 yrs. old. You would think that BTTF's could throw him a new T-shirt just for being there... Hope he's doing ok...

Glad you guys didn't see me then. Hate to think how you'd say I looked, and I'm probably 20 years younger than LeMat.

Some of us age well and others not so well such as life. He is still the greatest in my book! When I met him he freaked out that I knew all about AG, was easy since I grew up in Petaluma. Was fun to talked to him in the 82 while we filmed another one of his movies together and them meeting him again just a few years ago at a local charity car show called Thunder on the Lot here in Lancaster. I always liked "Aloha Bobby and Rose"
I've had the pleasure to talk to him a couple times and he has always been very cool and willing to just sit and talk. Gary

Meet Paul at a West Haven Ct. Car cruise about 5 yrs ago he was on tour w/ the yellow 32. He did look a little rough then but the 32 looked a lot worse. Got his autograph, talked for a while he a cool guy.

  22. I have seen him at a few events over the years and looks about the same as he did a VLV a while back. I think he looks great for his age I would have bet he was in his 50's. But after seening him is is wore out tshirt and freind of mine made the comment.

    MILNER LIVES!.........from day to day.:)

...I remember as a 13 year old kid walking out of the Elmora Theater in Elizabeth, NJ that night and wishing that somehow, someway I could have been John Milner. Such a great character by Lucas and Le Mat was perfect for the part. It was definitely the moment I started thinking about building my own hot rod.

The scene where he pulls the car out of the garage after "uncorking" the headers is probably my favorite 30 seconds of movie footage of all time....the kids throwing the ball around the parking lot, the way the car lurches when he lets out the clutch, how he clips the curb at the pump island with the back tire...pulls a cigarette out of his sleeve and lights it up talking to the pump jockey....it all seemed so real and so cool.
I never get tired of watching that movie.
