one of my earliest car show memories was a wheelbarrow all chromed out with some sort of motor... I think it was green. that would have been at Oakland around 1970.

they used to have cool chromed out weird stuff at Oakland. I remember a chrome chain saw all tricked out.

this is the first show lawn mower I've seen. I think you should use it. show mowers*****.:D

That is amazing. I fixed up a*****py lawnmower before but it still just looked like.. well a*****py lawnmower. I am impressed by people who can see something like that and envision the final product as well as you did.

I've seen it all....a cool retro lawn mower. Never even thought about a push mower being cool.

im with everyone else. bad**** mower. BUT im curious. did you have plans to restore it or did all the positive feed back drive you to do so. im curious because i collect stuff like this but never get around to doing anything with it. just goes to the shed for "future project"

Oh believe me when I say that as soon as I saw it I pictured it candied, pearled and metalflaked with chrome plated everything. I cant seem to leave anything alone!

Whoa now! Don't sell yourself short on this mower.

    Aluminum deck!

    Bigs and littles!

    Fade-away fenders!

    ...and it's a VOLLRATH!:D

Some elbow grease, a paint job and a little pinstriping and this could turn into a full-scale******** contest! :p

You could be a contender. Start polishing that aluminum deck, and break out the metalflake for the rest of the parts.
