Wonder if someone at Speedway is watching this and probably other boards. I got an email from them today listing a bunch of companies that they sell who's products are made in the USA.

  2. I got it too. I ***ume it was because I bought something there?

Welcome to world.2.0, keep a secondary email address for any business that asks for it, because it will be spam filled in no time.

I got it too. It's been over a year since I brought from them only because money is tight the last few years. I will be buying again shortly I hope from a few different vendors.

I like seeing they still had some U.S. products and letting us know which products that they were and where they are from.

I don't know if they do- but it surely would make sense if they did. We're they're market after all. I got one.too. If you don't want their mailings, just unsubscribe. Complaining about it here won't do you any good.

If you visit other sites besides the HAMB as well as here you will see a lot of complaints as of late about off-shore parts from Speedway, the email showcases American companies but what about all the other pages in the catalog? What about American companies that outsource? Lots of advertising hype, let's look patriotic for the Forth of July and have a sale! Lets honor are fallen soldiers with a Memorial Day Sale! That I think is in poor taste, but that's marketing in the U.S.A.

I saw a post on the hub listed as The speedway company. I asked about the chinese parts. There was a response about something for everyone. I got the same e-mail.

Well, you kind of have to. There just isn't the wide range of products being made here that there used to be. But it's always been a global economy-and there has always been good stuff made elsewhere and **** made here. I agree it's nice to buy products made by our fellow countrymen-preserving jobs, etc. but don't you think our Aussie,NZ, Swiss,French,Canadien, etc HAMB brothers and sisters get tired of this topic?

Shipping is incredible fast, you just have to consider what you are buying. I would never buy a cast axle there, I will buy a lot of their stuff that is fool proof though. Why complain about **** that is bought super cheap when it breaks, you just have to be a smart buyer is all.
