Yes, Mal Jones was a very good rider and an even better mech/builder. Eddie Hasha unfortunately lost his life on that trecherous Newark track dubbed the "Murderdrome" along with a few spectators and injuring countless other's including fellow rider Johnny Albright. Went too soon.

    My favorite was Jim Davis.

Big Pierce model 66, 1914. Looks like a posse after the Packard girls, with a health food truck behind. No ice cream for them on the 4th!

Its Five O'Clock Fliver Time here on the east coast again.

In case you never heard of the term, Fliver was a name for a Model T back in its day......

Lou Moore, a well known auto racer from Santa Monica, CA and his assistants working on a "rocket car." The date is December 31, 1928. Lou Moore (1904-56), most known during his career for qualifying for the pole position of the 1932 Indianapolis 500. After his driving career, Moore became a legendary car owner. Moore-owned entries won Indy four times, with the final three, from 1947-1949, being the first of to-date two occasions to see three consecutive victories by an owner.

I have some other photos of this and believe they were used in a movie.....

Naaaaah. I just can't believe it. You sure this isn't the world's first photoshop? Actually, I'd like to see more photos of it, especially the cheater blocks on the pedals! Gary
