They look like 17" lancer hubcaps on 17" wheels. The original lancers were all 14" for this style (58-58). Earlier lancers 55-56 were 15". In '59 they went back to 15" (actually 15.3") for the crab claw style lancers, which only fit on the dodge wheels. If you see '59 lancers on something besides a dodge, then they are after market, unless it's a ford or other mopar with the dodge wheels. If you see 57-58 lancers in 15" they are after market, and if you see either in chrome they are fake too. All originals were stainless.

Are they actually wheels? They did a good job because they look like hubcaps. Weird a concept as it is to try to make wheels look like hubcaps. I always thought it would be kool to make some like that but have the outer part look like a wide white but actually be part of the wheel.

You're right this guy had these wheels made, they are billet aluminum machined to look like a wheel with a hubcap.

  10. They're pretty neat,better than any 17" wheel I've seen...

it looks good but i still think a 15 inch bias white wall and normal lancer cap would look better i just can't seem to dig any big wheels ..... my .2 cents

I'm not really a Billet wheel kinda guy but I can see that if you've got a pretty healthy motor and want to run a larger brake package larger wheels come into play. Honestly these don't look bad at all. They have all the traditional flavor you could ask for and heck they made you look twice. Thats kool!

OK, I'm looking for some help identifying these hubcaps. I believe they are 1959 Dodge Lancer crab style hubcaps. They are currently on my father's 1955 Ford Thunderbird. Neither of us are sure where the original hubcaps are.

I have looked around for pricing on original 1959 Lancer hubcaps, but can't find any comparable auctions. Any ideas as to the value of these caps? I think my dad might like to sell these and use the money to purchase some original 1955 t-bird hubs.

    Thanks!

The first one I thought of was the ones on a Foose built 54. They resemble the stock 54 caps. Cesar
