    That has to be Southern California. I remember the squigly lines so when you're driving, looking out your open door in the fog for the center line, you'll know you're approaching an intersection...for real.

    I wish! Vintage tin is pretty rare over here. It can still be found, but its nowhere near as common as on the mainland, and yes the salt air is pretty rough on old iron. I know where a '61 F-100 is, just sitting in a garage rusting away. I've been trying to get it for over 5 years, but its another one of those "I don't wanna sell it, gonna fix it up someday" stories.:( Maybe I'll start looking for a '55 or '56 Ford sedan, but they're probably just as rare.
