Yep it use to be mine! I bought it from my friend Ralf who had it started by Vern Tardell, then I traded it for a 37 ford, it use to have a blown 327 in it and from what he told me he is putting the blower motor back in it, if I can find a pic of the blower Ill post it, Isky unit, super cool.
Thanks Matt!!! I see Jordan's (5wbomber) old Model A Coupe (aka patches) showed up for the show. Nice to see that thing still bombing around. And I also see my personal inspiration Lazyv8's '39 Ford. This thing is probably one of the nicest cars on the HAMB. I just love it and the build he did with his gramps.
Yeah, there was lots of real nice customs and hot rods...Not a lot of flat black beat up 4 door junkers at all.
My buddy from Lodi was telling me about the Clampers and what they do. I guess one of his highschool buddies joined. The wikepedia is pretty funny too..
Nice pics, thanks. When you said "Jap drag bike" I expected to see a little Honda or something! Then when I got to the pics I thought "Oh, a J-A-P motor", but then, no, is it a Harley flathead bottom end with J-A-P barrels and heads?
Is this a full weekender or a one day show? Would be cool to go to BP NW then head down there afterwards next year. Thanks for all the pics and coverage. -Shiny
