I know I've posted here before that the car was running and driving before. But that was when I couldn't trust it any further than the end of the driveway. Well today I tweeked the carb and took care of a vacuum leak, hopped in fired it up, set the idle, threw it in gear expecting the worse. I opened my eyes and it was still running better than ever. I decided to grow a pair and take it up the road to get gas then I had a Forrest Gump moment and kept going. Mind you, I'm not looking for a pat on the back just excited as hell to finally have a dependable Sled.
Right on. I know the feeling. Rollin down the road with your fingers crossed only to realize ya got it right. Have fun crusin.
haha. it's cool when every street sign that goes by makes you think "this is the furthest from home this has ever been!" just keep on going. breaking down isnt that big a deal. i have done it many times. hahaha. just get AAA.
Yep, they're still crossed just alittle looser. I do need to get AAA. Would you want to cruise out to Moonlight together? more like "All systems iffy, That may be 360, Where angles 12?, and why is that blue smoke out there?"
