well i painted the J today in peices, used a knock off paint like HOK, worked great. ton of flake in it . solar red gold mettalic... needed to race this thing and decided to just go ahead and paint it and finish it,. not perfect but better than i thought it would be, i love it. now to paint the chassis and cage and put it together. stay tuned ill have posts avery few days on the finish of it.

also need a name for it not sure yet what to call it.... will be at ardomroe for the gasser wars and hopefully at the valley in a few weeks to test... now its down hill ....i have another thread on here to this point henry j race car project...

Very inspiring! I'm just beginning my gasser project car; a 1946 Austin sedan. I can only hope it will be half as nice as your Henry J!

That will be a hell of a ride for a mature citizen. Keep up the good work showing the youngsters that us old guys can still keep up with them.

  20. Bitchen car! Always loved Henry J's! I remember I had this Revell model kit of one when I was growing up. I had that thing for years but somewhere it got lost in the fold. That was my favorite childhood hot rod by far.
