Projects Wife wants me to sell something

Mine decided when we buy a house she wants a detached garage to hold all my nonsense projects. She said if the house came with a pool she would be happy, but she wants a place to work on her project car too... Its a good mix. Hell, she bought me a Cadillac...

 

He has a real good wife from the looks of that stable.

 

What is she wanting ? theres always a reason.. that has no reason..

 

guess it's good to be single!

 

Why does she want you to sell your stuff? How are the finances in the house? Were both of you contributing equally to the household budget and any additional money that you personally had left over go to the cars/hobbies?

If everything is going well money wise, why must you sell something? What does she want to use the money for?

 

I agree with the wife! Sell the damned sea container and build a bigger shop!

 

just store a car or two at a buddies shop that way it "appears" that you have more room. Perception is key!

It's time to do some "sweet talkin". My wife said we need to get the car thing in order, maybe get rid of something. We're going to look a another car this weekend!

 

Sell the black one and replace it with 3 cheaper cars.

Several years ago, my wife told me if I brought another car home, I had to get rid of something. Well about a week later I found another project. When I got home with it, She met me at the door and said I had to get rid of something. So the next day I gave away the couch. She never said another thing about getting rid of anything.That was about 8 years ago and we are still together.

 

Or if you have the loose change go buy your wife something SHE wants, she will soon forget how many cars you have if she is enjoying one of her own hobbbies. So many people miss the fact that your Mrs is your partner, financial too.

I like the idea earlier about having a sacrificial car around. So that way when you need to sell something you let the sacrifical car go. You can't pick anything too obvious though like a ford tempo or a Pacer.

Or if you have a cat I'd sell the cat. Then you can always say "Hell I thought you said CAT"

I agree with the wife, ofcourse her and I were conversing just the other day...she said you have to sell/give it away quickly, and she thinks I'm a good candidate to be caretaker.

At last count I had 20 + cars some projects some finished. I don't ask my wife for permission.... I ask for forgivness. She dosen't have a clue what I have and that is the way I like it. For all of you that need to ask your wife.. GROW A SET
