KKOA Salina, KS 2010 Meet & Greet Info

Lot of talk on a couple of different threads about one of the best mid-west events of the summer, the Kustom Kemps Of America show in Salina, KS the weekend of July 23-25th. We've had some wonderful HAMB Meet & Greets at this event in the past, last years was HUGE. I expect this year to be no different.

The question for me was where to have it inside the park? Since the event has moved to a new location that I'm not fimiliar with I didn't know of a good place to meet. I pondered this for abit and came up with the HAMB Merc Gathering location as an AWESOME meet & greet spot. The location will be easy for most to find, I'm sure there will be plenty of trees, and we all want to check out the Mercs anyway so two birds with one stone so to speak.

So, with all that being said lets Meet & Greet on Saturday at 12 noon at the HAMB Merc Gathering location.

I am looking forward to seeing lots of HAMB pals and making a few new ones.

I am especially looking forward to meeting Chevygirlrox. She is dreamy.

again this year we will meet at the kansas colisium thursday morning and plan on leaving there at noon to caravan to Salina.

 

Can't wait for the show. I will actually be able to hang around for awhile this year too. Yeah, and HOLD THE ONIONS, dragon breath.

 

Hell, I'll be there. The band I play in is performing at the show

Unfortuantately I wont have a car roadworthy yet...

 

I'll be at the Salina show Friday only. Be making a few passes at the airport drags with the model A. Saturday I'll be hauling my Chevy II gasser to a drag race south of OK City.

 

I'll be there. Probably Friday and Saturday only. Wish I could be there for the whole thing, but I will settle for 2 days.

 

I'm ready, hopefully I'll be more photogenic this year.

Going in to set up my booth on Thursday and I'll be there all weekend long.

I'm really sorry to say I won't be able to make it this year and will miss you all. I think it is going to be an outstanding show with the new venue and hope you all have fun. Gary

 

thought i was going, but just received a call from work and need to head to California. figures, been planing and sitting all summer on this and now something pops up!

 

A few of us from Amarillo are heading up Friday morning. I've never been to Kansas before....looking forward to it.

 

Unless I am: dead, blown up on the side of the road, or still looking for the new park, I'll be there.

Just thinking maybe I should throw a ladder in the trunk of the Galaxie so that whoever takes the shot can get up higher so we can stack people a few deep and not have a 1/2 mile wide shot, sounds like a lot of folks will be here!

 

Travis, Lay it across the top of the Galaxie, put a big plywood fin on the rear of it and call it a "Kansas surfboard"...you'll be cool...!!!

Where will the H.A.M.B ers meet? Is there any drag racing? Can custom cars attend the event? Will there be any bands at the show? Will any famous personalities be there? Will there be a swap meet? Will any vendors be there? Is it true motel prices are low? Are the local people not friendly? Is the Cozy Inn a gay bar? Will any orphan Mercs be on display? Will those hot girls Denise and Rox be there? Is this the biggest list of goofy questions ever posted? If you have answered yes to all but the Cozy Inn question you are brilliant. However The Cozy welcomes gay customers as well! See ya In SALINA!! ~Sololobo~
