Hey Guys! We are looking for a COE to use at this years Hunnert Car Pileup. Please let me know if there is any interest and we can work out the details later. Something pre-65 would be preferrable but we are open to others. Thanks a lot and please pm me if there is any interest.

some info on chassis swapping.. 1973 ford cab over (laundry/bread truck looking thing) dually appear to share the same chassis as a 1949 cab over truck, in both design and measurement. only differences up front being the steering box, brakes and wheel size..... the later wheels are 16" front and back versus the 20"+ wheels of the 1940s, the later 16" wheels have a nice old timey design.
both still use drums...again, differences are in brake design... the later uses Bendix brakes/drums where the 1949 uses the 1940s ford adjustables.

side note, does anyone want to trade a complete, uncut 49 ford coe cab for a chevy 41-46 chevy coe cab in similar condition? ;)

i am gonna put the 51 on this gmc car carrier that was used to haul a 57 chevy race car back in the day. the owner was killed in the sleeper that was on it. his buddy was driving and lost control and the owner was asleep in the sleeper. some how it came off and flew off the truck. he was killed in it. the and had parked it and never moved it. my dad talked him to selling it cause he wanted the 427 that was in it for his 67 vette and he gave me the bed and chassi to build us a hauler[/QUOTE]

    I knew this truck well.

There's plenty of cool cab overs on this thread, but, this one has to be my favorite.

I had a White, sent it to Iowa yesterday. Won't miss it, made to much, and somebody is doing something with it!

I was looking for this truck. I remember seeing it years ago with a mini-truck on the back at West Coast Nationals... This one just brought me back!

I kinda like the old White COE's. I found one in Oklahoma a couple of years ago, wish I would have bought it now.

It was in Guthrie, but I'm pretty sure it's gone now.
