Back in high school before the import craze i had puss lights in the interior of my car that i turned on when i "parked". I'm building a full kustom 54 chevy. i was contemplating putting in some hidden accent lights that matched the exterior color. I cant decide if this would be cool or tacky. what does everyone else think?

Why not? I call it a score light. Carrying on some tradition IMO.

I know Jeff Myers 57 Cadi has some pretty slick lighting in it. and i dont think it looks out of place. but i do think it could easily be overdone.

I had them in a 53 Chevy at least 12 years before the 80's, and I never let any girls in my car that I was afraid of looking at. We called 'em sex lights.

  11. You will be fine, Jeffs Caddy is a fine custom.

up here they were known as whore lores they went back to the 60s at least. Two purple lights in the top corner of your windshild and two just under the dash at the top of the kick panels.

  15. I thought they worked like black lights, you could find and clean the stains before returning the car back to your parents.

Never heard of "Puss Lights" before.. I know the cool thing to do was mount little lights in the fender wells to shine down on your cool Spinner hubcaps.

Yeah, I had some in my Stude in the 60's. If I could do it in that car, you sure could pull it off in a full custom Chevy.

The cool guys around here in the 50's and 60's had red beehive clearance lights tucked up under the dash and lit them off for cruisin' the street and scorin' at the drive in...
    I did it in the early 80's...but I'm a throw-back anyway. LoL
