nope, we just have a govt that has sold us out, i bet you have friends that you know could do anything, but so many oppurtunties have left. i have also lamented that during the war we made all those tanks and battleshiops and planes, we weren't better educated then, people probably did have a better work ethic, but that is not evolutionary, we still have the same basic abilities, just not the oppurtunity. vote carefully this fall......jerry

  19. Now THAT would make a kick-ass race-car hauler! Car in the back and living quarters up front. That AF/X Mustang would look cool in there!

I wish they would have made a panel version here in the states.

These Dodges look like they share some body parts with Internationals.

Some of these cab over Ford's were sold under the MACK brand for a short time.

  23. Give it a rest, this is the best thread on the HAMB so let's not stink it up with politics. Post your pics and forget the commentary.

I agree, vintage. I've wanted to say something off and on, but this isn't the place.

Whle I prefer the '53-'55's the Silver and Golden Hawks are still very stylish, without any "refinement". I sure wouldn't turn one down if somebody handed me the title. ;)

I couldn't agree more. I guess my subtle point was that the style was so advanced that with a little 21st century refinement, mainly the outdated fins, it would be a stylish 21st century car...Today

No panel vans here either. The bodies were constructed by independent body builders (No, not the muscleman type. :)).

These Dodge and the equivalent International did share in Australia. Chrysler Australia did the bodies and International did the basic chassis. The running gear, trim, etc. varied.
